Applicant Profile
Those who have an academic degree of bachelor or higher, trained in disciplines such as: statistics, mathematics, engineering or other related areas may apply. Applicants must have completed, at the undergraduate or Master's level, the subjects of probability and statistical inference and must have a level of English appropriate to the requirements of the program.
Graduate profile
The doctor in statistics trained at the University of Valparaíso designs and develops autonomous and original research projects in statistics, preparing, selecting and implementing statistical methods. In addition, it reports its findings to specialized and non-specialized teams; with knowledge and skills in statistical methods to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in order to contribute to scientific, social or economic development.
