goals
The General Objective of the Program is to train specialists with advanced knowledge in the theoretical and empirical foundations related to energy, water and the environment, who are trained to carry out research in these areas. The general lines of specialization offered by the program are: Renewable Energies and Energy Efficiency, Water and Water Resources, Environment and Sustainability.
Applicant Profile
Graduates in: Sciences, Engineering Sciences or equivalent professionals from academic programs of 4 or more years of studies with an equivalent or higher level of training (in the case of applicants from abroad).
Graduate profile
The graduate will have skills to: (a) develop research in Energy, Water and Environment in universities, research centers and institutes; (b) formulate and direct research projects in the field of the doctorate and (c) contribute to the solution of energy-environmental problems using advanced theoretical and empirical knowledge.
Lines of investigation
The three lines of research are: Energy and Energy Efficiency; Water and Water Resources; and Environment and Environmental Sustainability.
