General objective:
THE ESSENTIAL OBJECTIVE OF THE DOCTORATE PROGRAM IN INDUSTRIAL ENGINEERING IS TO TRAIN RESEARCHERS WHO CONTRIBUTE TO THE STUDY AND INNOVATION IN COMPLEX SYSTEMS CONSTITUTED BY TYPE SUBSYSTEMS: INDUSTRIAL, COMMERCIAL, HUMAN, ENVIRONMENTAL, INTERIOR, SOCIO-ECONOMIC, AND SOCIAL-ECONOMIC LOGISTICS INFORMATION GLOBAL OPTIMIZATION DIFFICULT. THE FOREGOING, USING OWN TOOLS FROM RESEARCH AND OPERATIONS MANAGEMENT AND TECHNOLOGY CONSIDERING, VARIABLES TO ACHIEVE THE OBJECTIVE, SPECIAL EMPHASIS WILL BE GIVEN TO THE RESEARCH DEVELOPMENT COMPETENCES THAT ALLOW THE GRADUATION TO EXERCISE THE AUTHORITY OF THE GRADUATION AND CONTRIBUTE TO THE GRADUATION OF AUTHORS AND PERMANENT TO THE DEVELOPMENT AND BENEFIT OF THE ORGANIZATIONS WHERE THEY WORK
Specific objectives:
- Promote advanced research in the context of Industrial Engineering
- Encourage support for innovation in the organization from design, development and optimization, to the implementation of efficient solutions.
- Promote the development of skills to manage technology transfer and scientific communication at the national level
Applicant Profile
The applicant for the Doctorate in Industrial Engineering program must have at least a Bachelor of Engineering degree and a master's degree is desirable, in some of the disciplines related to this doctorate, obtained in Chilean or foreign universities and complying with the regulations of the programs doctorate and master's degree from the Universidad de Concepción, Article 4. Possess analytical and creative skills for the approach of analysis and resolution of scientific questions and problems related to the various areas of Engineering Industry. You must demonstrate a special interest and motivation for the cinematic investigation. Ability to read and understand specialized literature in the area, in the English language at an intermediate level and desirable skills in a third language.
Graduate profile
The graduate is a person capable of developing autonomous research or leading teams, and transferring their results both at the level of training in higher education institutions and in different organizational contexts.
