Upon successful completion of the Doctorate program, the student will be able to conceive of directing and developing scientific research and / or technological development activities in the area of Materials Science and Engineering; analyze and identify areas susceptible to innovation within the technological processes of elaboration and transformation of metallic, non-metallic and ceramic materials; develop academic activity in a comprehensive manner, under a spirit of leadership, fostering the creation and direction of research groups and actively participating in multidisciplinary work groups. Additionally, you will be able to disseminate orally and in writing the results of your research work, understanding the importance of this communication and always demonstrating a comprehensive knowledge of the topics related to your field of research. Finally, you will have the ability to stay updated on the topics of your field, as well as acquire knowledge of new areas.
