The objective of the Doctorate in Business Administration is to train graduates who contribute to research and teaching in related disciplines, with an adequate knowledge of research methods and techniques, of the literature associated with the scientific field, and with the potential and ability to conducting autonomous studies and research.
Applicant Profile
Those who meet the following requirements may apply to the Program leading to the degree of Doctor of Business Administration:
1.- Be in possession of a bachelor's or master's degree, and
2.- Accredit prior training according to the purposes and requirements of the Doctorate in Business Administration.
3.- The Academic Committee of the program may order that, in addition to studying the background, the knowledge and competencies of the applicants in the disciplines of the program are evaluated. This evaluation may consist of an interview, exam or other mechanisms that allow you to objectively verify your level of preparation.
Graduate profile
The Doctorate in Business Administration seeks to train graduates who acquire solid knowledge about the central and current theories and concepts of the administration discipline, and its different specialties, as well as current knowledge of research and teaching methods within the discipline.
In turn, it is expected that graduates obtain the knowledge and skills necessary to independently carry out original and relevant research in the area of administration and business, in order to make significant contributions to the knowledge and development of the discipline.
From the teaching perspective, the graduate is expected to obtain the basic skills and competencies necessary to teach in the area of administration and business, and to develop the ability to integrate the knowledge acquired during the course of the program.
Within their general abilities, graduates are expected to have an adequate command of English at the reading level.
At the end of the Doctorate in Business Administration, it is expected to have trained competent professionals capable of creating and generating new relevant knowledge in the field of administration and business with social and civic responsibility, that is, that contribute to the development and competitiveness of the country and the region, through the use of creativity and critical analysis that must be acquired in the program, all with an ethical-value and civic commitment.
