goals
The Doctorate in Engineering Sciences, mention in Materials Science, is a program aimed at the multidisciplinary training of specialists of the highest scientific and technological level, with the ability to independently carry out original research in Materials Science and, who will be able to perform professionally in positions that require knowledge and research capacity in higher education institutions, industries and technology centers, both in Chile and abroad.
Applicant Profile
Bachelor's or Master's degree in a discipline related to Materials Science (Engineering, Physics, Chemistry and related sciences)
Graduate profile
Graduates of the Program will be able to work as researchers in the design and preparation of materials with new properties, identifying relevant problems for society. The solid training provided will allow them to formulate and execute projects with an adequate methodology, both individually and collaboratively, and communicate their results through scientific publications and oral presentations.
