Applicant Profile

Graduates or graduates with training in Geology, Engineering or disciplines related to Earth Sciences, demonstrable through a Professional Title or Academic Degree of at least 4 years duration. The student must express interest in expanding their knowledge of Geology, particularly in the lines of research declared by the Program; in addition, wanting to develop competencies for fundamental and / or applied scientific research that allows them to work in the academic world, the productive sector or government agencies.

It is valued that the student has a level of English equivalent to B1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).

Graduate profile

The graduate of the Program has solid theoretical, methodological and practical training, which allows them to understand, relate and integrate knowledge about exogenous, endogenous or geobiological geological processes in Desert Media, with the purpose of identifying, conceptualizing, designing and developing, in a creative way, original and autonomous, quality basic or applied research projects. His motivation for self-learning allows him to be permanently updated; has the skills to work in trans and / or multidisciplinary teams of national and international institutions that carry out top-level research. The communication and oral and written dissemination of the results of their research, both in specialized media and in scientific dissemination environments, is a fundamental competence of their work.
