Applicant Profile
To access the doctoral study in Mathematics Didactics, it is necessary to meet the following requirements: Be in possession of a Master's or Academic Master's degree, nationally or internationally accredited, in: Didactics of Mathematics or Education Mathematics or Educational Mathematics, Master in Sciences with a mention in Mathematics, Physics, Master in Didactics of Experimental Sciences, Master in Education with a professional degree in areas of Mathematics and Master in Engineering
Graduate profile
Graduates of the doctorate in Mathematics Didactics will be able to develop autonomous and collaborative research in Mathematics Education from the evaluation of the different problems that arise in the scientific, social and cultural environments of mathematics education, which contribute to the development of knowledge in the field of discipline. Likewise, graduates will be able to formulate and reformulate problems with an innovative imprint in the field of mathematics education, both locally and globally; linking with national and international research networks; collaborating in the training of excellence of new researchers; contributing to training in mathematics education. According to the above, it is expected that graduates show ethical-value coherence in all their research and academic work, standing out in attitudes and values such as: social commitment, responsibility, autonomy, teamwork and respect for the different cultures in the different contexts in which it develops.
