To train advanced human capital in the area of management sciences, in order to contribute to the generation of knowledge related to the businessman / entrepreneur and private and public organizations in the region, the country and Latin America.
Applicant Profile
The program is aimed at all those professionals who wish to develop their research capacity in the area of management sciences. Applicants must demonstrate knowledge, at the bachelor's level, in areas of economic and administrative sciences, engineering sciences, and / or social sciences.
Graduate profile
The graduate of the Doctorate in Administration program masters various knowledge in the areas of Organization Management, as well as Economic and Financial Management, being a researcher with the capabilities to develop autonomous research processes on the border of his area of specialization in an integrative context , disseminating the new knowledge generated in the different media, ensuring compliance with ethical principles and respect for the human person, in accordance with the institutional seal. In this way, the graduate doctor is able to work in the public and private sectors, in research centers and / or universities, developing high-quality research and teaching based on the frontier of knowledge.
Lines of investigation
1. Management of Organizations: It is oriented to be on the frontier of knowledge in the field of management and organizational behavior of new, small, medium and large companies. This line draws on other disciplines such as business economics and social sciences, as well as various qualitative and quantitative methods to answer research questions associated with how to improve the firm's competitiveness, productive capacity and sustainability. An approach to this problem is sought both from a global organizational point of view, as well as from a functional point of view.
2. Economic and Financial Management: It is oriented towards advancing in the knowledge of the economic and financial management of small, medium and large companies, analyzing the current work of the company to propose strategies that allow a higher level of corporate development. For this, issues related to corporate finance, corporate governance, business economics and quantitative methods for business decision making are addressed.
