Applicant Profile
To enter the Doctorate Program, it is required to be in possession of the academic degree of Bachelor of Physics or its equivalent. This degree corresponds to approximately five years of university studies in Mathematics and Physics. An average higher than five (5.0) is required in the Physics and Mathematics branches.
Graduate profile
The PhD in Physics UC will be able to propose and develop an original research project, either in the area of Theoretical Physics or Experimental Physics. Our doctors will also be able to participate in the development of projects and innovative ideas in industries with a sophisticated technological profile. The profile of the graduate of our program must correspond to an independent researcher who has already achieved a deep level of knowledge in a specific area of Physics. Our doctorates must be able, in the same way, to join both national and international research teams.
