goals
The main objective of the Doctorate in Sciences program, Chemistry Mention, has as its main objective to train new generations of competent researchers, with solid knowledge in Chemistry and in the chosen specialization, to incorporate them into Universities, Research Centers or innovative companies in the country and abroad. Through the above, the program seeks the generation of new knowledge, models and technologies to contribute to the scientific development of the country, the region and the Universities participating in the Program, inserted in the international scientific reality.
Applicant Profile
Our program is aimed at outstanding students in their undergraduate career, whose original training is relevant to the area of Chemistry. Upon entering, students are required to have a deep interest in scientific research, which will be verified through their background during the application process to the program.
Graduate profile
The graduate must be able to develop research with international standards in any of the areas of chemistry according to the chosen specialty, evidenced by the acceptance of at least one publication in an ISI journal before graduation. Graduates of this Program are expected to be able to form work teams, be a leading researcher in their specialization, creative and independent.
