The surrender of the University Selection Tests will be on Monday, November 18 and Tuesday, November 19, 2019, that is, a week earlier than last year.
The Council of Rectors of Chilean Universities approved in its session on Thursday, March 28, the 2020 Admission Process Calendar, which establishes that the University Selection Tests (PSU) will be given on Monday, November 18 and Tuesday, November 19, 2019 .
"The main novelty of the calendar approved by the rectors is that the surrender of the PSU is brought forward in a week and that the results will be known on Wednesday, December 18, that is, it will not interfere with the end of the year celebrations," said the Director of SUA and Secretary General of CRUCH, María Elena González.
He explained that advancing the rendering of the tests was possible thanks to the Head of the Divesup, Juan Eduardo Vargas, who coordinated within the Mineduc the various instances involved in the process, such as the Student Financing Department, the General Education Directorate, and the Institutional Strengthening Department, among others.
The proposed dates had also been agreed with the Department of Educational Evaluation, Measurement and Registration (DEMRE).
Other relevant calendar dates
The dates of the PSU registration stage are similar to those of previous years: it will begin on Monday, June 3 and will run until Friday, August 2.
As usual, it must be done via the internet through the DEMRE website (www.demre.cl). The results of the scores will be announced on Wednesday, December 18 and that same day the application stage will begin, which will end on Sunday, December 22.
Meanwhile, the results of the university selection will be published on Tuesday, January 7, 2020 and, the following day, the enrollment period will begin, between Wednesday 8 and Friday, January 17, 2020.
