General objective:
THE GENERAL OBJECTIVE OF THE DOCTORATE PROGRAM IN WATER RESOURCES AND ENERGY FOR AGRICULTURE HAS THE GENERAL OBJECTIVE TO TRAIN SPECIALISTS WITH DEEP KNOWLEDGE IN THE FOUNDATIONS AND APPLICATIONS OF ENGINEERING SCIENCES, ABLE TO GENERATE AND TRANSFER NEW KNOWLEDGE IN THE FIELD OF HERGING. Specific objectives:
- Generate new knowledge, relevant for the design and implementation of strategies, plans and actions for the management and handling of water and energy resources for agriculture.
- Build first-line research on water and energy issues that respond to current problems in the area of agriculture and the environment.
- Generate scientific proposals in the areas of water and energy for agriculture that promote the sustainable use of resources.
Applicant Profile
The recommended entry profile in the doctoral program is preferably aimed at students who, meeting the access requirements and having completed a master's or bachelor's degree with a scientific or technological nature, have acquired competencies that enable them to apply scientific and technical methods to propose and solve research, development and application problems in the areas of water resources and energy in the field of agriculture.
