goals
To train autonomous academics and researchers, capable of generating psychological knowledge, with high standards of methodological rigor, in one of the three lines of research considered by the program.
Applicant Profile
The ideal candidate will have undergraduate or graduate training in psychology and will be interested in doing research in one of the research lines of the program. In addition, it will accredit initial academic experience, either through participation in research projects, participation in publications and / or in teaching activities. To meet the requirements of the Doctorate, you must demonstrate basic experience in research methodology, reading comprehension in English and that you will have availability of 40 hours per week during the duration of the program.
Be in possession of a bachelor's and / or master's degree in Psychology. Exceptionally, it is possible to apply in possession of academic degrees in Social Sciences and related with training in Psychology, who will be asked to take an examination of relevant knowledge during the course of the program.
Graduate profile
The professional graduated from the Doctorate in
Psychology will be able to:
• Formulate coherent research projects,
oriented to the production of knowledge
original and relevant scientist in the field of
(a) human rights, political violence
and psychosocial repair; (b) development along
lifelong learning and education or
(c) the subjective dynamics of social life
and institutional.
• Implement research projects
scientific autonomously and systematically,
fulfilling criteria of methodological rigor.
• Analyze and interpret data in a
answer relevant research questions
for psychological science and social life.
• Disseminate research results in
different formats of scientific publication
oral and written.
• Recognize the quality factors for the
university education according to the standards of
UAH training model.
