The objective of the Doctorate program in Computer Engineering is to train specialists who wish to acquire advanced knowledge in the area of Computer Engineering, through a systematic program of courses and seminars, and to carry out theoretical or applied research leading to the doctoral thesis. , so that, through such original and independent research, it contributes to the scientific development of universities, research centers and innovative companies in our country.
Applicant Profile
Be in possession of an academic degree of Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering, with good grades. If the committee has questions regarding the student's academic background, a knowledge test and / or a personal interview will be required. All applications are analyzed by the Academic Committee of the Program.
Graduate profile
The DII program graduate must be able to: a) Develop pure or applied research in the area of computer engineering. b) Analyze a specific research problem in some area of computer engineering, study the state of the art associated with this problem, and propose an original and independent solution. c) Evaluate the quality or performance of the proposed solution to the research problem. d) Summarize and disseminate the results obtained during the research and disseminate them in international journals and conferences of their specialty.
