The Doctorate Program in Economics will be aimed at the training of graduates of the highest level, who have a broad domain of the discipline and with the ability to develop original and relevant research in the field of economics.
Applicant Profile
Those who meet the following requirements may apply to the program leading to the degree of Doctorate in Economics:
1.- Be in possession of the degree of bachelor or magister, and
2.- Accredit prior training according to the purposes and requirements of the program to which you are applying.
Graduate profile
Graduates of the program will be trained to perform as academics in higher education institutions, both in teaching and research; and in research areas in institutions such as Ministries and public services, consulting firms, international organizations, NGOs and Banks, among others. This is how the Program will be oriented towards the development of research skills of the students, with special emphasis on topics of interest to Chile and Latin America.
