The objective of the Program is the training of scientists of the highest level, who develop a critical spirit and the ability to identify and solve current biological problems. Thus, the set of academic actions of the Program trains the student in the language and the use of the fundamental tools in the disciplines Cell Biology, Biochemistry and Molecular Biology to express their creativity in science, reflected in the ability to formulate innovative projects and the generation of new knowledge.

To enter, applicants must present the Application for Admission to the Graduate School and meet the following requirements:
Possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biological Sciences or equivalent.
Submit Curriculum Vitae and associated documents.

This program generates graduates with the theoretical and practical knowledge, perspective and competencies to manage and carry out scientific research either individually or as part of a multidisciplinary group, at a competitive level in the area of biological sciences in national centers of excellence. or international. Our doctorates will be able to increase knowledge in fundamental aspects of cell structure and function; address the study of cellular and molecular transformations that lead to the development of pathologies; and solve biological problems applied to the productive sector.
