goals
The objective of the program is to train highly competent Doctors in the area of Plant Biotechnology, with a solid training in its agronomic and biotechnological applications, capable of addressing various problems in the country's agricultural and forestry sector, proposing innovative solutions, as well as disseminating in society its activities and knowledge associated with achieving the incorporation of new technologies for the improvement of plant species or production processes associated with biological processes carried out in plants, algae, fungi, among others.
Applicant Profile
The applicant must be a graduate and certified language (English, ALTE3 level or equivalent), with a clear motivation for plant biotechnology.
Graduate profile
Graduates will have advanced knowledge in Plant Biotechnology, with autonomy, critical capacity and ethical responsibility to propose, develop and lead original research projects in the field of plant natural resources, aimed at finding solutions to social problems and optimizations in the Chilean agricultural and forestry sector. Doctors in this program will also be able to lead projects and solve problems at an international level, which will be enhanced by the option of obtaining a double degree with the University of Bordeaux.
