The PSU, whose registration will have a value of $30,960, will be held on Monday, November 27 and Tuesday, November 28.
Between now and August 4 there will be a deadline to register in the PSU, which will be submitted at the end of November, that is, applicants will have approximately two months to register (61 days).
The Director of the Single Admission System (SUA), María Elena González, pointed out that “before registering, it is essential that applicants read the document Rules and Important Aspects of the Admission Process and review the Preliminary List of Careers and Weightings. In the document of Norms they will be able to find the necessary information to face each one of the stages of the process and they will know what their rights and duties are; and in the Preliminary Payroll they will be able to review the careers and requirements offered by the 38 universities that participate in the Single Admission System (the 27 of the CRUCH and the 11 private affiliated ones). In this way, they will have the necessary elements to make the best decisions according to their interests and motivations ”.

The Director of the SUA, María Elena González, recalled that the students belonging to the promotion of the year of municipal establishments and subsidized individuals can access the PSU Scholarship granted by JUNAEB (National Board of School Aid and Scholarships). To do this, “when registering, the student completes a single form. In the event that it complies with the requirements established by JUNAEB to grant the PSU Scholarship, it will know it at the end of the operation, automatically ”, he explained.
Other relevant dates
The SUA Director explained that the Admission Process consists of five stages (enrollment, PSU surrender, application to universities, university selection and enrollment) and “the recommendation for applicants is to download the 2018 Admission Process Calendar so that they can bear in mind the dates and deadlines established for each of the stages ”, he said.
This year, the PSU will surrender on Monday the 27th and Tuesday the 28th of November and the recognition of rooms will take place on Sunday the 26th. Almost a month after the surrender of the PSU, the scores will be published on Tuesday, December 26th. That same day the application stage will begin, which will end on Saturday, December 30 at 1:00 p.m.
As in previous years, students will have approximately five days to apply. The results of the university selection will be announced on Tuesday, January 16 at 11:00 p.m. and the enrollment period will begin the next day, between Wednesday, January 17 and Friday, January 26, 2018.
